Baby Blanket or Throw or Lap Blankets

SIZE: Approx 39" x 45" ( any pattern would be great)
MATERIALS: baby yarn in variegated makes a lovely blankets

4 Ply - 6 oz. solid color or colors of your choice. Crochet hook Size J  or 4 or 4.5

THROW or Baby Blanket, ch 139.
Row 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each of next 5 ch, 3 dc in next ch, *1 dc in each of next 5 ch, skip next 2 ch, 1 dc in each of next ch, 3 dc in next ch; rep from * to last 6 ch, 1 dc in each of last 6 ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), *skip 1 dc, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, skip 1 dc; rep from * across, end 1 dc in last dc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, skip next dc, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc, *1 dc in each of next 5 dc, skip next 2 dc, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc; rep from * across to last 6 dc, 1 dc in each of last 6 dc, turn. With A, rep Rows 2 & 3 for 3 more rows, ending with Row 2. Change to B. Rep Rows 3 & 2 for 6 rows, ending with Row 2. Change to C. Rep Rows 3 & 2 for 6 rows, ending with Row 2. Change to D. Rep Rows 3 & 2 for 6 rows, ending with Row 2. Change to E. Rep Rows 3 & 2 for 6 rows, ending with Row 2. Cont rep pat Rows 3 & 2 working 6 rows each in A, B, C, D and E, 2 times more. Fasten off.
